Exceedingly rare first enlarged edition of this first constitutional text of the Islamic Community in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia was adopted on the 28th of February 1936, including 222 articles. The decree with the power of legislation of 1936 added to the Law on Muslim Religious Community determination on its flag, as green with a white crescent and five-pointed star in its centre. The same is included in the Constitution of the Muslim Religious Community of 1936, prescribing that Reis-ul-ulema (the religious leader of the Community) regulates the details of its use.

Islamska vjerska zajednica Kraljevine Jugoslavije was an organization of Muslims in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. It was established on 31 March 1930, with the enactment of the Act on the Islamic Religious Community. The new law ended the previously existing Islamic Community established under the Austrian-Hungarian Statute for the Autonomous Administration of the Islamic Religious and Waqf-Mearif Affairs from 1909.

As of January 2024, two Slovenian libraries have the Constitution text in 1936 according to the OCLC (440795156).
