About Us
Alican Akin has been in the antiquarian book trade in Turkey for over 15 years. In 2009 he founded Khalkedon Rare Books which has been selling rare books on the Turkish and Islamic World from Central Asia to Andalusia since then. He has been a member bookseller of ABEBooks since 2012, a member of IOBA since 2015 and a member of the Ephemera Society of America since 2021. Also, since the beginning of 2021, he has been a mentee in the ILAB Mentoring Programme.
