In French, and index and preface in Ottoman script. [vi], 74 p. First 6 pages in Ottoman script (Turkish with Arabic letters). Serab Abahouni was a Turkish teacher of Armenian origin who serviced in the Ottoman Idadiye, Mülkiye, and Naval schools in Smyrna (Izmir). She wrote many textbooks in this period especially for the Naval School including learning French for Turkish naval students and French alphabet books. This book is one of them and it includes interesting short biographies of the first ten Ottoman Sultans. On the front cover, there's an indication as "Vendu au profit de la Flotte Ottomane" [i.e. Sold for the benefit of the Ottoman Fleet]. Not in OCLC.
