Early and richly illustrated Turkish edition of this rare botanical book translated the plants' chapter from the French zoologist and botanist Caustier's work titled "Anatomie et Physiologie Animales et végétales".
Siraceddin Hasircioglu (1877-1937) was a Turkish translator of this book, who was known for his early translations from Moliere and La Fontaine as well.
