Hasan Fuad Pasha is the son of Bjedug Himmishey Prince and the Commander of the Cavalry Regiment Hacemiko Misost and is the grandson of one of the Circassian leaders, Prince Zaniko (Zanekue) Sefer Bey (Zanoglu Sefer Pasha), who is also known by his mother for his important historical personality. Hasan Fuad Pasha was born in 1847 in Bjedugkale Province (Yekaterinador, or, Krasnodar) of the Caucasus. He came to Istanbul at the age of 11. He entered the Mekteb-i Harbiye (Harb Okulu, or, i.e. Military Academy) in 1870 (1286). After his graduating, he worked as a French language teacher in Bursa Mekteb-i Fünûn-i Idadisi (Military High School) and as a mathematics educator (teacher of riyaziye, [i.e. mathematic]) in military and civilian schools for a total of forty years. He was exiled to Rhodes in 1906 in the incident of the murder of Ridvan Ismail Pasha, the governor of Dersaâdet during the reign of Sultan Abdülhamid II (23 March 1906) due to personal hostility.
