First and only edition of this extremely rare and early translation in Ottoman language from Russian by Turkish major Nazmi, which was prepared by a Russian Commission between 1912 and 1914 to make a multi-dimensional presentation of the countries under the administration of Soviet Russia including the Caucasia, Central Asia, Turkestan, Bukhara, Khiva, etc. The work has a striking account of the history, geography, politics, and statistics of the regions with a map that produced only for this work.
There is no preface or introduction and the name of the original source in the book. It contains vast and detailed demographic, geographic and politic information of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Central Asian Kyrgyz steppe, Ural, Turgay, Akmolinsk (Akmolla), Semipalatinsk, Khiva Khanates, Semireçensk (Yedisu), Sir Derya, Amu Derya, Samarkand, Fergana, Khazar Provinces, Bukhara Khanate, Afghani, and East Turkestan, Idil (Volga). The book has significant information about the historical, social, and demographic activities of pre-Soviet Russia in the region.
In addition to this translation of Nazmi, two copyrighted works: "Cephe Gerisinin Müdâfaa ve Muhâfazasi" [i.e., Defense and Protection of the Behind the Front] and "Azerbaycan" [i.e., Azerbaijan].
