While he was the editor-in-chief of Yeni Hayat magazine, he was tried and acquitted in the case of Halk Istirakiyun Firkasi. His latest articles were published in Yeni Istanbul. He was known for his historical novel titled 'Kara Davud' [i.e. Black David]. This book is a continuation of the "pen fight" between Hüseyin Cahit Yalçin, (1875-1957), and the author. These "pen fights" are in the style that has been in the tradition of Turkish literature since the Ottoman period. In this text, the author, who is ideologically conservative, harshly criticizes Hüseyin Cahit Yalçin's ideological attitude.
