Original 8 press photos and one newspaper including a collection on Deniz Gezmis and his friends, meetings against the American Sixth Fleet, and boycotts in 1969. Six photos size: 18x24 cm.; 2 photos size: 10x25 cm; and one Hürriyet Newspaper of 17 March 1971, Wednesday, including the headline "Deniz Gezmis and Yusuf Aslan was caught!". B/w press photos show TMTF's Meeting, Direnis Komitesi's Meeting, Meetings against the American Sixth Fleet, Students actions, Vedat Demircioglu, (1943-1968)'s funeral, and Deniz Gezmis and his friends are in the boycott and the last one shows the crowd led and speaking by Deniz Gezmis. Deniz Gezmis, (1947-1972), was a Turkish Marxist-Leninist revolutionary, student leader, and political activist in Turkey in the late 1960s. He was one of the founding members of the People's Liberation Army of Turkey (THKO). Gezmis and companions are considered by some as "Turkey's Che Guevara and companeros". This photograph archive includes the events of '69 led by Deniz Gezmis. Extremely rare.
